Points of Departure Exhibition Launch, September 29, 2026
Points of Departure (September 16 − November 1, 2026), in partnership with Union, is an exhibition by photographers who took part in The Globe and Mail Foundation’s inaugural 2026 Photojournalism Training and Mentorship Program.
It was an opening night to remember!
Sixteen documentary photographers from across Canada displayed their work at Union Station’s historic West Wing, highlighting a fascinating range of stories from their communities — from coast to coast to coast.
We were so thrilled to welcome guests from across the country — from the news media, the arts and photo communities and Toronto’s vibrant cultural scene.
Special thanks to Union for an incredible opening night and for co-hosting the exhibition with The Globe and Mail Foundation, and to Chris Donovan for leading the program.
