“Julie & The Wrong Guys, 2018”
- It’s Always Nice to Come Home (2015 - present) is a documentary project that focuses on the intimate artistic community of Sappyfest, a music and arts festival that has taken place every August long weekend in Sackville, New Brunswick since 2006. Songwriter Julie Doiron (pictured here with The Wrong Guys) is one of the festival’s founders and a frequent performer.

- The book project Two Rivers (2020) comprises recreations of memories and dreams from the first three decades of Matt’s life. This photograph recalls Matt’s granny’s living room tai chi practice.

- Since 2022, Matt has been assembling a body of work that concerns the legacy of Odysseus throughout literary history, considering questions about the power of desire, fluidity of self, and concepts of home. The photographs have been made over many months in Türkiye, Greece, Albania, Italy, France, the UK, Ireland, and Manitoba, where Matt is currently based.
